Something more arcade style. Currently looking at NFS The Run, Driver, and Burnout Revenge on the Xbox Live store. Hotwheels World’s Best Driver looks like it might be entertaining as well.

360 or One? If 360, Test Drive Unlimited is a masterpiece. It’s an older game, but it’s absolutely fantastic if you want a slightly arcadey, free roam, racing game.

Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012 is actually quite enjoyable. But the games that you and others on here mentioned are definitly worth playing.

Apparently the 360 version isn’t as good as the X1 version. That’s only reason I held off on getting it (and still don’t have it even though I got an X1).

Horizon 1 is a pretty solid game though.

ehh burnout paradaise went in a different direction then the rest of the series. it became an open world game. which it has its merits, dont get me wrong. But if you can get burnout 3, revenge and paradais, you will have all oh the arcady crashy action you can imagen (and burnout 3's OST was one of THE best OSTs ever)

Try Driver SF. Its not too arcady, has a huge world, and has an Audi RS6 Avant. Sadly there is no manual mode, but its still a great game.

Forza Horizon 1. You can blow so many hours on it, it’s not even silly. Great open-world game. You got the physics and car models of Forza 4 but the ability to cruise all the roads and paths across a vast map.

I also recommend Burnout Paradise. Even though the online servers are dead, that game was ADDICTIVE .

360 Racing games (with buzzwords) I recommend in no particular order.

Burnout Paradise. Crashes!

Velocity Split/Second. Explosions!

Driver San Francisco. Car-jacking!

Dirt 3. Gymkhana!

Horizon 1. Music!

Test Drive Unlimited 2. Expansive!

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. EMPs!

Which Eggs Box are you on? If on the 360, Horizon is THE arcade racer to play. The cars are better modeled. The upgrades are better and more realistic. The painting and customization options are beyond compare.

Horizon 2 is only good on the Eggs Box Uno. It continues to be the game to beat. The depth of tuning and customization is still beyond what everyone else has to offer. NFS is close, but it is very limited is many other areas.

I have played neither Horizon title, because I am not a fan of arcade racers, but they follow the Forza philosophy of offering very deep levels of tuning and customization and offer the widest variety of cars and trucks to choose from.

Both Horizon titles are going to offer much more long-term play than just about anything else on the market.

Original* soundtrack, which (I’m being “that guy” here) wasn’t original, used actual songs made by other people, still great. And Paradise really is great, I haven’t played the other two in a long time, and I remember them well but be careful with nostalgia.

Driver San Francisco is pretty good, don’t know if it’s on the 360 though, and the Trials motorbike games are really fun, evo was the best, maybe check them out.

What about PGR4? It’s a really good game and has a really nice car selection. I also recommend Burnout Paradise, Forza Horizon and Midnight Club LA if you’re into customization.

Need for speed the run sucks balls. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is probably the best need for speed. Also Driver is an amazingly fun game.The game is not super long I finished it in like a week of casual playing but the car selection is fantastic and the game was a blast.
